Electricity has come a long way from being a thing of wonder to a commodity that is representative of modern life. The tariffs are complicated, and its availability cannot be whole guaranteed. The goal Intelect 2017 is to change that and give the consumers the control and assurance they have not had before.

The only way that Intelect 2017 is going to achieve that is through innovative use of Information technology. It is working to achieve that by bringing electricity producers, electricity distributors, and IT firms together. The three specialized entities are working together to create innovative technologies that will be used to efficiently produce, distribute, monitor and deliver electricity efficiently to the consumer. Together, they will empower the consumers to have more control over how they use electricity at home, at work, and in schools.

The decision to integrate production systems, distribution networks and communication systems so they can work together is what will empower the consumer. The consumer will be able to know what to expect, why they are paying what they are paying, and what options they have to lower their tariffs or use electric power efficiently. Intelect 2017 aims to bring a final solution to all problems that consumers have faced for a long time. It will do that by bridging the gaps that get encountered from the moment electricity is sourced to the moment the consumer can utilize it, and then pay for it.

The event is schedule to be held from January 23 to 25, 2017 in India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The Theme of the event is “Redefining Electricity for Smarter Living – Are you future-ready?
