AMTEX stands for Asian Machine Tool Exhibition. It is the premiere machine tool expo and quintessential platform for auto component companies and machine tool manufacturers to present their achievements in technology to the public. The end users that this trade show caters to are from the automotive, consumer goods, electrical and power equipment, and textile machinery sectors. The 2018 event will be held in New Delhi. The expo began in 2001 as a biennial event, but was later changed to an annual event at the urging of exhibitors. Numerous European countries are involved, including Germany and Italy.
Featured Participants
This year, there will be over 400 exhibitors at and several of them will be international exhibitors. The projected number of visitors is around 40,000. Some of the major companies involved as featured participants will include, but are not limited to:

Prior AMTEX Trade Shows
Previous years showed great success with the AMTEX event. AMTEX 2016’s main display categories were allied technology, industrial automation, metal cutting and forming machines, machine tools, precision tools, and manufacturing systems, as well as quality and testing instruments. It was held in Mumbai, which was advantageous since western India is one of the biggest centers of machine tools consumption worldwide. AMTEX 2014 catered to a number of industries, including aerospace, automotive, consumer sectors, power and electrical equipment, and textile machinery. It marked the beginning of record attendance at these highly popular trade shows.
